A call for proposals have been opened for the measure 1.3.3 “Active labour market measures supporting welfare measures”.
Deadline is July 31, 2009.
The general objective of the measure is to prevent unemployment and inactivity and bring the inactive to employment through social welfare services which support employment.
Measures, which support entering the labour market and working according to their specific needs are developed and experimentally implemented for many labour market risk groups (the disabled, including those who became disabled in the course of work, long-term unemployed and applicants for social assistance, young people leaving orphanages to start an independent life, children from families with social and economic subsistence problems and other socially disadvantaged people). To combine work and family life efficiently, attention is paid to alternative care services, so as to enable persons with a care obligation to take part in employment (including services targeted to persons with an obligation to care for the elderly, disabled and disabled children).
Applicants include (permanent locality has to be Estonian):
- legal artificial person
- self – employed entrepreneur
- government office or its administrative body (except institutions supported trough national programmes)
- local government
The total amount of structural support given from the measure 1.3.3 will be 25 million EEK European Social Funds money.
