A call for proposals for the measure 1.3.1 has been closed

03 February 2009

A call for proposals for the measure 1.3.1 “Increasing the Availability of Qualified Labour Force” has been closed. The deadline was January 27th, 2009 at 5 pm.

The general objective of the measure is to increase the availability of qualified labour force through active labour market measures. The availability of active labour market measures will be further developed and extended to the employed people to prevent unemployment and inactivity. Furthermore, services aimed at redundant people will be developed and implemented in order to prevent them from withdrawing from the labour market and for bringing the unemployed and inactive people back into employment.

The number of applications (mostly from the NGO-s, commercial enterprises and local governments) sent to Innove was 119 with a total sum of subsidy being about 638 million EEK. The biggest subsidy asked for a project was about 34 million EEK.

The total amount of structural support given from the measure 1.3.1 will be 150 million EEK.

A group of independent experts will assess the project applications and compile a final list of accepted projects.
