European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network activities 2009-2010 report. The objective of the report is to introduce policy makers and target groups the main results of the activities of the European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network.   

Handbook on Career Information Provision. (2010) The purpose of this handbook is to support career specialists in developing resources and delivering services. This publication provides some useful advice and instructions for making service provision most effective. The material is based on J. P. Sampson’s Designing and Implementing Career Programs: A Handbook for Effective Practice” and is available in Estonian only.

Labour Market Information Guidebook. (2010) The publication is targeted to the career specialists. It explains the citizens’role in today’s economy and the way economy works. It helps to interpret the labour market statistics and forecasts. Available in Estonian only.     

Active Engagement. Career Counselling. Author: Norman E Amundson. (2010) The book by N. E. Amundson provides new methods to guidance counsellors in specifying and solving the client’s problems. The book is available in main libraries around Estonia.

Career Services in Estonia. (2010) This leaflet gives an overview about career services in Estonia in present. Publication is in English.

Mobility Toolbox. (2010) The handbook is for everyone who mediates information about working or studying abroad. Besides information about mobility opportunities the handbook also has a methodological part to help career specialists in guiding together with giving information about studying abroad. Available in Estonian only.

Group counselling. Theory and practice. (2010) The handbook provides career counsellor with an overview of the theory and practice about group counselling. Available in Estonian only.

I Will Finish School. (2009)
The booklet gives information about continuing studies, entering the labour market, working as a volunteer etc. Information about thematic web sites and schools is also included. The material is targeted at young people. Available in Estonian only.

My first...Opportunities and Risks in entering the Labour Market. (2009) Among other job-related topics the booklet focuses on salary - what kind of income is realisticwhen entering the labour market for the first time, what motivates people beside salary etc. Available in Estonian only.

Career Information for Disabled Young People. (2009) The material is about career opportunities for disabled young people. Also included are the personal stories of the young and successful people with disabilities. The material is primarily targeted at career specialists and parents. Available in Estonian only.

Career Counselling - Counsellors Handbook. (2009)
The author gives new information about career processes (e.g. dynamics of change, structured relationship building) and techniques (storytelling, second order questioning, planned happenstance, and more). Also included are a series of case studies illustrating the ways in which the active engagement method could be applied. Available in Estonian only.

Workbook - Help in Decision Making. Study? Work? Become an Entrepreneur? (2009) The workbook helps people maketheir career choices and important decisions. Available in Estonian an Russian only.

Career services in Estonia . The brocure gives an overview about career services in Estonia. Also included a historical timeline of career services provision in Estonia in 1998-2008. The publication is available in English and in Estonian.

Health and Career. (2008) The material explains one's health can affect career choices and working life altogether. The publication is targeted at career specialists, teachers and other school workers who help young people in their career choices. Available in Estonian only.

Career Information Guidebook. (2008) 
The publication presents the keywords one should bear in mind while information retieval and evaluating the information found. In addition, one can read about the web-site creation, arranging the career library, and more. Also include are the practical exercises for enhancing information literacy. It’ is a handbook for career information specialists, but also for other career specialists. Available in Estonian only.

Study in Europe. (2008) The material is targeted to young people interested in mobility opportunities as well as distractions that can appear when planning to study abroad. The publication also introduces working an alternative to pay for the studies. Also included is an overview of tendencies of Estonians’ mobility. Available in Estonian only. . 

Cooperation Between Career Specialists and Parents. (2007) The publication is targeted to all the specialists who have contacts with young people and their parents in the process of career planning and choosing profession. The book helps to raise career specialists’ awareness of different possibilities to improve cooperation with parents. Available in Estonian only.

Career Services in Estonia. (2007) The material gives an overview of career services in Estonia. Issues that are covered: target groups, problems of service provision, qualifications, financing, quality assurance, creating and mediating career information and legislation. Available only in Estonian.

Education, Labour Market and Career Guidance in Estonia. (2006) The publication gives an overview of Estonian educational and labour market system, and today’s situation in career guidance – service provision, target groups and qualification and training of guidance personnel. The last chapter tells about developments in career guidance – national ESF project to improve quality in guidance and European Joint Actions project for establishment of national guidance for ums. Publication is available in English. 

From School to Work. (2007) The booklet contains an introduction to general, vocational, and higher education, students with special needs, adult training and allowances. The second chapter gives an overview of the labour market situation (unemployment, international perspectives, forecasts etc.). The last part of the publication looks at the connections between education and labour market system. Available in Estonian only.

Challenges for Career Guidance in Small States  (2006) (The study by Ronald G. Sultana), carried out within the context of the MEDSUI Joint Actions project, challenges the view that small states are simply scaled down versions of larger ones. The monograph is divided into four sections: methodology used in the study, definition and characteristics of small states, literature on small states in various fields that are related to career guidance, and conclusions concerning the specificity of the challenges for career guidance in small states. Publication is also available in Estonian.

Collaboration in the Provision of Career Guidance Services  (2006) The compilation includes case studies of co-operation among career guidance providers, stakeholders and various partners as mapped and submitted by 6 different European countries. All initiatives are described within a similar framework of topics – the context, goals, partners, description and challenges of co-operation, partnership-related outcomes and impact on policy. The publication is aimed at people interested in the development of career guidance services and in reviewing related initiatives in other countries. This compendium has been produced within the framework of the EU Joint Actions programme, and is one of the outputs of the project called MEDSUI – Developing National Fora for Guidance in Six Member States: Malta, Estonia, Denmark, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Publication is also available in Estonian.

Learning by leaving. (2006) Placements abroad as a didactical tool in the context of vocational education and training in Europe is based on a PhD thesis of a Danish expert on education – Søren Kristensen. The book analyses learning processes which are related to the placements abroad. The author tries to create a reliable theoretical framework to move on from the best practice to the elaboration of a specific pedagogy of the placements abroad. Available in Estonian only.

Career Information Guide. (2005) The guidebook explains the basics on the formation and mediation of information about education, labour market and professions. The aim of the publication is to support practitioners who work with career information on daily basis, and to improve their information retrieval skills. The material includes a description of information retrieval processes, methods and strategies, principles of establishing a career library, and management of a web projects. Available in Estonian only.
