Academia 2008 in Estonia

Academia exchange programme 2008 within the Lifelong Learning Programme framework was organised by the Foundation for Lifelong Learning Development Innove as Euroguidance Estonia in co-operation with related organisations.

This year's visit to Estonia took place from March 30 – April 04, on 1.-2.04 the group visited university town Tartu. The overall theme was Guidance in higher Education in Estonia, with a strong emphasis on practical methods. During the week the participants visited four Universities and it's career centres. The week consisted of 18 hours of lectures, workshops, site visits and discussions dealing with the following themes:

  • guidance provision in Estonia;
  • guidance in higher education institutions;
  • transition to tertiary level and labour market.

In addition, guidance methods in Denmark, France, Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom were introduced by the participants.
