Academia 2009 in Estonia

Academia exchange programme 2009 within the Lifelong Learning Programme framework was organised by the Foundation for Lifelong Learning Development Innove as Euroguidance Estonia in co-operation with related organisations.

This year's visit to Estonia took place from April 20 – 24. The programme took place mostly in Tallinn, on the third day the group visited summer capital town Pärnu in the south-west of Estonia. The overall theme was World of Work – Labour Market Information in Estonia. The week consisted of 26 hours of lectures, site visits and discussions dealing with the following themes:

  • Career services;
  • Education and labour market system;
  • Guidance in general and vocational education institutions;
  • Labour market information;
  • Youth work and work education;
  • Entrepreneurship and economics education.

In addition, practical tools used in Estonia, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Spain and the United Kingdom were introduced by the participants.
