Joint study-visit for Euroguidance centre colleagues
Euroguidance centres in Finland and Estonia will organise together a study visit in Helsinki and Tallinn during 31 May – 4 June 2010.
There will be room for 10 Euroguidance colleagues in the group, max 2 from one country.
The study visit will be based on the Terms of Reference of Euroguidance network. Focus of this study visit will be on exchanging ideas and examples on how these terms are met in different countries.
We will ask participants to prepare some examples of their own regarding the following themes.
- Social media as a new tool for Euroguidners (incl blog, Facebook, Twitter, trailer etc) – examples and experience;
- Co-operation within the country and between the countries (incl mobility training for guidance counsellors etc);
- Feedback mechanisms that we use (incl examples from recent surveys, analyses of the inquiries etc);
- Production of different information and promotion materials (incl both electronic and printed, best practice etc).
Besides that we will give an overview of guidance systems in our countries, the role of our organisation (CIMO/Innove), where EG centre is located, other responsibilities of the organisation/unit where EG is located etc.
We will start the study visit in Helsinki and then take the ferry to Tallinn.

Starting 16:00 departure from Tallinn
We will take care of preliminary hotel reservations in both cities and boat tickets for the trip from Helsinki to Tallinn. Hotel prices are 90 EUR per night (single room) in Helsinki and 63 EUR per night (single room) in Tallinn.
