European Guidance Week in Tallinn 26th-29th September 2017


Within the Estonia´s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in autumn 2017, Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, Cedefop and Foundation Innove welcomed over 200 delegates from 35 countries at the European Guidance Week 2017 in Tallinn.

The overall theme of the event was innovative information and communication technologies (ICT) and future co-operation in the field of lifelong guidance. The aims were to:

  • share innovative ICT practices;
  • disseminate tools and initiatives to support the development of ICT capacity of lifelong guidance, and
  • facilitate future cooperation at European level.

The event was aimed at the participants who are involved in national and regional policy and practice of lifelong guidance.

To identify current trends and points of interest the University of Jyväskylä in collaboration with Cedefop and Euroguidance Estonia have carried out a mapping survey on the use of ICT and the recent progress of co-operation mechanisms in lifelong guidance. You can find the  overview of country responses here or from the side-menu under the „Presentations and materials“. Together with the named mapping survey, you will also find presentations of the sessions from the conference and the communique.

The conference was live-streamed which recordings are available to watch as well as the gallery from some of those days of the EGW. All the named information is avaialble on the menu.
