The partners of the project were: 6 vocational institutions and Estonian Chamber of Commerce.
The overall objective of the project was to raise the awareness and knowledge of young people about enterprise by developing the entrepreneurship studies for VET institutions. It was important that all school graduates acquired sufficient knowledge about enterprise and the logic of how businesses operate, so that they were able to notice opportunities and realise them through business activity. To reach this goal study process were designed close to real life to facilitate learning.
The outputs of the project were:
- 3 modules for entrepreneurship studies for different target groups
- Relevant teaching and learning materials
- Business-related computer game improved the knowledge and abilities of students
- Teacher, trainers and entrepreneurs should be aware of new study methods (project work) and materials
The main expected results:
- After passing entrepreneurship studies the graduates have gained practical knowledge of the basics of entrepreneurship on an Estonian example;
- Adaptability and usability of the new modules in different curricula in vocational schools;
- Study materials help students understand the logic of operations of a business;
- The teachers who will be using new modules have the main role in achieving good results;
- Taking into account the emerging new NET generation;
