We support Ukraine in implementing multilingual learning using Estonia’s experience and know-how. The overall objective of the project is to support the teams of the schools of partner countries and the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) in the preparation of teaching and methodological materials (curricula, learning plans, recommendations, etc.) for multilingual education. The completion of these materials is the most important result of the project.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine:
- we will carry out joint activities in Ukraine (two seminars in Kiev for about 80 people);
- we will organize a study visit to Estonia for the team members of Ukrainian schools and the Ministry of Education and Science in order to introduce the organization of Estonian education, in particular regarding the matters of training and counseling of teachers on the specificities of second language teaching and the CLIL methodology.
A summary of the first seminar held in Kiev (12-14 February 2019) is available HERE. The study visit to Estonia for the team members from Ukrainian schools and Ministry of Education and Science will take place in 11–15 March 2019.
