My child is having trouble with studies, behavior or relationships – in kindergarten, in school, or at home. Where can I find help?
In the spring period, the number of families looking for help for kids having problems at school or at kindergarten, always rises.
Questions often arise: should we go to our school’s psychologist or to the Rajaleidja centre? What should I do, if there are no support specialists in out kindergarten? Should I go to a psychiatrist before coming to Rajaleidja? Does my child need a rehabilitation plan or a referral from a family doctor to get the services of a speech therapist?
The new leaflet “Where to find help” by Innove Rajaleidja is now available in English. In this leaflet, you will find short and clear information on how to help your child, when he or she is experiencing problems in kindergarten, in school or at home.
This leaflet can be used and distributed by anyone. Schools, kindergartens, teachers can share this with parents, add the leaflet to their website, send it to parents via eKool, Stuudium, Eliis, print the leaflet out and put it on the wall of the classroom, etc.
Through improved awareness, we save time for all parties and guide children to the help they need faster!
Rajaleidja is a nationwide network offering free educational counselling services for parents, teachers and other educators of young people between the ages of 1.5 and 18.
