The IELS study also collects data with questionnaires for early childhood education and care centre’s staff members and children’s parents.
The child’s early childhood education centre’s staff members are asked to answer a questionnaire. The staff questionnaire consists of two parts. Part A contains questions about the teacher. Part B contains questions about the child’s skills. The teacher who knows the child the best will be asked to answer the questionnaire for each child.
The parents or the guardians of the children participating in the study (hereafter parents) are asked to answer a parents’ questionnaire. The parents’ questionnaire consists of one part, and it can be answered by one parent or several parents together.
Answering of the questionnaires is carried out electronically. Questionnaires can be answered either in Estonian or Russian.
