Euroguidance Estonia is the Estonian National Resource Centre for Guidance and provides a range of services to Estonian guidance professionals and to professionals abroad. As a member of the Euroguidance Network, we support internationalisation in lifelong guidance, provide support in the areas of learning mobility and lifelong guidance development within education, training, and employment.
Innove has been an active stakeholder in the field of lifelong guidance since the enlargement of the European network of national resource centres for vocational guidance in 1998, when the national centre was established by the Estonian Ministry of Education.
The overall objective of the Euroguidance Network is the competence development of the guidance community on the European dimension of lifelong guidance. The two main tasks are to:
- Support the development of the European dimension of lifelong guidance within national guidance systems through strategic cooperation with relevant national and EU authorities, services and networks, as well as through information sharing, peer learning and facilitating international
- Support competence development of guidance practitioners and raise their knowledge and awareness on the value of international mobility for career management and skills development.
This year was a major milestone for the Euroguidance Network as it celebrated its 25th anniversary. This was commemorated by the setting up of a new website. You are welcome to get an overview about guidance in Europe, including systems, practices and networks, but also latest publications, events and a lot more HERE. Furthermore, the Euroguidance network’s Facebook account is a good source for information when it comes to internationalisation in guidance and learning mobility in Europe.
